  • Physiotherapists are specialists in assessing and improving movement and function, while relieving pain. They promote good health by educating and facilitating clients to maximize their abilities while adopting a healthy lifestyle so that they can return to pre-injury activities.
  • Treatment may include: injury specific exercise programs; manipulation and mobilization (manual therapy); electrotherapy (e.g. therapeutic ultrasound); acupuncture; work rehabilitation and soft tissue techniques.
  • Physiotherapy services are provided on a competitive fee-for-service basis.
  • Types of coverage: WSIB, Third Party Insurance, Extended Health Benefits, Self Pay.
