Functional Abilities Evaluations

  • Utilizing the Isernhagen Work Well protocol, a Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) is designed to objectively determine whether an employee is able to return to a pre-injury or alternate occupation. An FAE can also objectively measure an employee’s ability to complete the physical demands of an occupation, and can be used in conjunction with other assessments, such as Independent Medical Evaluations, to identify any other restrictions that may pose a barrier to return to work.
