Early Intervention Services

  • Early Intervention Services are designed to assess and treat workplace injuries within 48 hours of injury. The goal is to provide the right care to the employee to promote optimal recovery, to reduce the risk of re-injury, and to minimize risk for both the employee and employer. The program focuses on optimizing work capabilities for early, safe and sustainable return to work. To optimize return to work success, return to work coordination and planning can be implemented, when necessary .
  • Interventions include: treatment of affected areas, education on hurt versus harm and clear recommendations on functional activities that the injured person is able to participate in. Information is communicated to all relevant stakeholders at the time of the assessment and when changes occur in the injured person’s functional abilities.
